Economic Potential
The power of the region lies in the building materials industry relying on its own resources. The other important departments of economy are also metallurgical, precision, machine, food and textile industries.
According to the official data of GUS (state on September 30, 2006) 105 550 entities of national economy operated in the Świętokrzyskie Province. 552 of them hold foreign capital shares.
